1 - The Applicant or Holder acknowledges having read the provisions of the naming decision and agrees to be bound by all of its terms as adopted and amended by the ANRT. That decision is available on the ANRT website.
2 - The Holder benefits from exclusive and personal use of the registered domain name during its validity period, in accordance with the regulatory provisions in force.
3 - At the time of the registration or renewal of a domain name, every Applicant or Holder is deemed to have accepted the collection, storage, and processing of their data by the ANRT, as well as the publication of WHOIS data.
4 - The Holder is deemed to have agreed that certain data concerning them may be transmitted by the ANRT to the competent authorities or to a third party in accordance with the legislation in force.
5 - The choice, use, and operation of a domain name, along with its associated subdomains, are the responsibility of the Holder. The Holder uses the registered domain name and associated subdomains for their own needs without infringing the rights and interests of third parties.
6 - The Holder is represented by an individual, known as the administrative contact, duly mandated for this purpose and established in Morocco. If the Holder is an individual, they may act as their own administrative contact.
7 - The Holder acknowledges and agrees that the administrative contact is authorized to act as the Holder's agent for the registration and management of the domain name. In the event of a dispute between the Holder and the administrative contact during the management of a domain name, the Holder's position prevails.
8 - The Holder must provide Genious Communications with valid postal and email addresses for the Holder and the administrative contact.
9 - The Holder must ensure that all information relating to the registration of a domain name, provided to Genious Communications, is up to date, complete, and accurate. They must update it immediately if any changes occur. The Holder must check that the data published in WHOIS is complete and accurate and make any necessary updates with the Registrar without delay.
10 - The Holder may renew their domain name at any time in accordance with the naming decision. Upon the domain name's expiration, the Holder must renew it during the renewal grace period if they wish to keep it.
11 - When a domain name expires, Genious Communications may terminate it if the Holder does not pay the related renewal fees. At the end of the renewal grace period, the domain name is deleted by the ANRT.
12 - The Holder may cancel their domain name before its expiration date. The domain name has a cancellation grace period during which the Holder may re-register it.
13 - The Holder may request a change of Registrar at any time, subject to compliance with the provisions of the naming decision and this agreement.
14 - The Holder may transfer their domain name to another person, subject to compliance with the terms of the naming decision and this agreement.
15 - The Holder undertakes to submit to the alternative dispute resolution procedure and to any ANRT decision concerning the registered ".ma" domain name.
16 - The Holder must ensure, when registering a new domain name, that it is not part of the reserved terms list (see reference).
In accordance with decision ANRT/DG/N°02/2024, any registration or transfer of a .ma domain name must be accompanied by an official document proving the legal existence of the holder:
For holders established in Morocco:
Individuals: National Electronic Identity Card (Carte Nationale d'Identité Électronique - CNIE)
Entities: Commercial Register (Registre de Commerce - RC) or Final declaration receipt (Récépissé de déclaration définitif, for associations)
For foreign holders:
Individuals: Passport
Entities: Certificate of incorporation
Submitted documents must be legible, valid, and consistent with the WHOIS information. Genious Communications reserves the right to refuse any non-compliant or incomplete request.
Domain names whose information or supporting documents do not meet regulatory requirements may be suspended 14 days after their registration or transfer, without refund or compensation.
1 - Genious Communications must inform the Holder of the expiration of their domain name thirty (30) days before its due date and allow the Holder to renew the domain name at any time before or during the renewal grace period.
2 - Genious Communications must process any modifications relating to domain names and Holders in the Registry whenever such changes are communicated by the Holder.
3 - When a domain name is cancelled, Genious Communications must inform the Holder and specify the cancellation grace period during which the Holder may recover the cancelled domain name at any time.
4 - Genious Communications must provide Holders with a website that includes its complete and up-to-date contact details. The company must also publish on that site all changes made by the ANRT to the regulatory provisions and to the procedures for registering and managing domain names.
5 - Genious Communications must share with the Holder any information or notification concerning them immediately upon receipt from the ANRT.
6 - Genious Communications must promptly inform the Holder concerned of any freeze, block, or deletion of a domain name by the ANRT, communicating the reason as provided by the ANRT.
7 - At any time, and upon the Holder's request, Genious Communications must provide free of charge the authorization code(s) for one or more domain names within three (3) days of receiving the request.
8 - Genious Communications must assist Holders with the registration, renewal, cancellation, and transfer of domain names, as well as with updating the related information. It must provide all necessary support to Applicants and Holders so they can correctly supply the required information.
9 - Genious Communications must not collect, use, or disclose any data—personal or otherwise—relating to a Holder for purposes other than those provided for by the Holder's domain name registration and management, and must do so in accordance with the regulatory provisions in force. The use of such data must comply with the regulations on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
1 - The information collected as part of the application or registration of a .ma domain name is processed exclusively for the purpose of granting the domain name.
2 - The recipients of this data are the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT).
3 - In accordance with Law No. 09-08 promulgated by Dahir No. 1-09-15 of 18 February 2009 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, and object by contacting:

4 - You may also object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.
5 - This processing has been declared to the CNDP under authorization no. A-PO-2038/2025, issued on 19/12/2025.
In accordance with the ".ma" domain naming decision, the ".ma" domain name alternative dispute resolution policy applies to ".ma" domain names relating to a trademark, trade name, or service mark protected in Morocco. It governs the alternative dispute resolution procedure between a complainant and a respondent concerning a ".ma" domain name. The policy applies to all domain names registered with the ANRT, and the respondent submits to it by accepting the conditions of the naming decision.
